Terms of service
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These terms cover your use of OTPHop, including the website at otphop.com, the Android app and the browser extension. OTPHop is operated by Edo Ventures LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India (LLPIN ADA-3968), based in Hyderabad, India ("we", "us"). If you install or use OTPHop, you agree to these terms.
1. What OTPHop does
OTPHop reads the SMS codes that arrive on your Android phone and sends each code, encrypted, to your paired browser, which fills it into a code field. The security page describes how it works.
2. Free trial
Each phone gets a 7-day free trial of the full app. The trial starts when the phone first registers. When it ends, the app stops forwarding codes until you enter a valid license key.
3. Purchase and license
A license costs $9.99, paid once. Gumroad (Gumroad, Inc., United States) is the merchant of record for every sale. It takes your payment, and the Gumroad Terms of Service apply to the purchase. We do not receive your card details.
The license is personal. It lets you use OTPHop on one phone and up to 3 browsers, and it can be active on a second phone so that you can move to a new one. "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the OTPHop service. You may not resell, share or publish your license key.
Refunds are covered in the refund policy. How you receive the product is covered in the delivery policy.
4. Your use of OTPHop
You agree to use OTPHop only for codes that are sent to you, and only on devices that you own or are allowed to use. You agree not to attack, overload or reverse engineer the relay service, to bypass the trial or license checks, or to use OTPHop to break the law or the rules of another service.
5. Software licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the OTPHop Android app and browser extension for your own use, on the devices covered by your license (see section 3), during the trial and after you buy. We keep all other rights in the software. You may not copy it except as needed to install and use it, resell, rent, share or sublicense it, or remove its notices. You may not decompile, reverse engineer or modify it, except to the extent the law allows despite this limit. The source code is not published.
6. No guarantee of delivery
OTPHop depends on your phone, your mobile network, your browser and the sender of each SMS. A code can arrive late, arrive twice or not arrive. A code older than 3 minutes is never filled. We do not promise that OTPHop works with every site or every SMS format.
7. Warranty and liability
OTPHop is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about OTPHop is limited to the amount you paid for your license, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for a missed or late code, or for loss of access to another service. Nothing in these terms limits a right that the law gives you and that cannot be limited.
8. Ending your license
You can stop using OTPHop at any time by unpairing your browsers and removing the app. We may end a license that is used against these terms, and we will tell you why when we can. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the license key stops working.
9. Changes
We may update the service and these terms. We post the new terms on this page with a new date. If you keep using OTPHop after a change, you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms follow the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, India have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you the right to go to a court in your own country.
